We are planning to hold our first annual meeting conference at 1PM to 6:00PM on June 7, 2003(Saturday) on the Shady Grove Campus of the University of Maryland. Click here to see more.

2009 TASTA Annual Conference
Dear Friends:
Taiwanese American Science and Technology Association (TASTA) will hold the 2009 annual conference on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 1:30PM to 5:30PM at the Conference Room, The Culture Center of TECRO, 901 Wind River Lane, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. The conference theme is"US-Taiwan Bio-Technology and Economic Development”. TASTA's mission is to promote cooperation between the U.S. and Taiwan in Science, Technology and Industry. We have invited several distinguished speakers (Mr. Benjamin Wu, Former U.S. Department of Commerce, Assistant Secretary of Technology Administration, and others) from Taiwan and US, to share with the conference participants of their experiences and perspectives on technology issues between US and Taiwan.

2005 TASTA Annual Meeting and Conference
Dear Friends:
Taiwanese American Science and Technology Association (TASTA) will hold the third annual meeting/conference on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 2:00PM to 10:00PM at the Conference Center,University of Maryland, Shady Grove Campus. (conference: 2:00PM – 5:30PM, banquet: 6:30-10:00PM). The conference theme is " US-Taiwan Science and Technology Development: Trends and Future Potential ". TASTA's mission is to promote cooperation between the U.S. and Taiwan in Science, Technology and Industry. We have invited several distinguished speakers (Gov. Bob Ehrlich, Governor of Maryland, Mr. Benjamin Wu, U.S. Department of Commerce, Assistant Secretary of Technology Administration, Mr. Eugene J. Huang, Secretary of Technology, Commonwealth of Virginia, and Dr. Jaw-Ling Joanne Chang, Deputy Representative, TECRO(Taiwan Embassy at Washington, D.C.), and some guest speakers from Taiwan and US, to share with the conference participants of their experiences and perspectives on technology issues between US and Taiwan. Please mark your calendar and join us at this enlightening and informative conference.
